Marina Papaiakovou's display on parasitic worms, featured in the Natural History Museum

Marina Papaiakovou, in her fourth year of a PhD in Veterinary Medicine, has led a piece in a new permanent gallery in the Natural History Museum in London. The exhibition, titled "Fixing Our Broken Planet", explores the environmental challenges facing our world, and showcases science-based solutions. It is themed around energy, health, materials, and food, encouraging visitors to reflect on their relationship with nature.

Marina's display focuses on parasitic worms. It features three groups of parasitic worms, as well as a bottle of medication which is used as both a treatment and a preventative chemotherapy. There is also an audio element, where visitors can listen to Marina discuss her current PhD work via an earpiece.
