Marina Papaiakovou, in her third year of a PhD in Veterinary Medicine, has received an award from the British Federation of Women Graduates (BFWG).
BFWG awards are made on the basis of evidence of academic excellence as shown on the application form, referee reports and, for those shortlisted, brief presentations of their research to a panel of academics.
Marina was awarded the Winifred Cullis Award for Validating soil-transmitted helminth diagnostic signatures using genomics technologies.
The full announcement of awards can be seen on the BFWG website.
