Marina Papaiakovou, a Harding Scholar in her third year of a PhD in Biological Sciences at the Department of Veterinary Medicine, has been awarded the Abcam Research Prize award.
This was one of two awards, given to one PhD student and one post-doctoral researcher, who demonstrate notable recent research achievements or general excellence over time which is outstanding to their career level.
Marina received this award at the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Admissions ceremony on 29th June at the Department of Veterinary Medicine, University of Cambridge, where awards were presented by Mr Julian Norton, known to the public as the "Yorkshire Vet".
