Ange La Furcia, a Harding Scholar in the fourth year of a PhD in Latin American Studies, has been awarded the Honorable Mention in the SSSP's Gender Division's Student Paper Competition Award.
Ange will receive a plaque in recognition of his Honorable Mention, awarded for her paper "The lived experiences of beauty and grammars of the maricada in the Colombian insular Caribbean".
