PhD thesis title: To be decided
Research interests:
1. Random graphs
2. Random walks
3. Percolation
4. Complex networks
My PhD programme is concerned with the mathematical underpinnings of modern data science. The nature of the programme is interdisciplinary, although I will be concentrating on probability theory. I plan on continuing my prior research on random walks on dynamical percolation.
Who or what inspired you to pursue your research interests?
My interest in random graphs and complex networks was first sparked by my bachelor thesis in Leiden. I greatly enjoyed the process of doing research, which inspired me to undertake a PhD. For my master’s degree in Cambridge, I did research on random walks on dynamical percolation. This is a topic in probability with many unanswered questions, which I hope to explore further during my PhD.
