After being interviewed last year at The Scientist’s Channel, Marina Papaiakovou (2021, Biological Sciences) has won this year's competition, and has been awarded the very prestigious Scientists’ Choice Award for Life Sciences Video Interview of the Year.
The interview explores Marina’s PhD work, which focuses on improving diagnostics for worm infections afflicting nearly 1.5 billion worldwide.
