Marina Papiakovou (2021, Biological Sciences) has published the first data chapter of her thesis in the International Journal for Parasitology, with her idea featured on the journal’s cover.

Marina’s fascinating article emphasises the importance of leveraging genomics technologies in order to understand genetic variation in worms (and phylogenetic analyses) to improve diagnostics development and validation for these important worms causing more than 1.6 billion infections worldwide.
