Brigid Ehrmantraut, from the 2019 cohort of Harding Scholars, has now completed her PhD project, submitting her minor corrections on 8th June 2023.
Brigid studied within the Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic department, and her final thesis title was "Interpretatio Hiberniana: Classical Influences in Medieval Irish Depictions of Otherworldly Characters".
Brigid will soon go on to begin a four-year Junior Research Fellowship at St John's College in Cambridge, and is also in the process of publishing her PhD research.
